How to tell if my ignition switch is bad not the lock cylinder but the wires part. my car will not crank
or anything. the dash lights come on and headlights they dont dim when im
trying to turn the car on.l replaced the battery and starter. ljump across
the starter terminals and the engine cranked over but wouldnt stay on. It
wont crank with the key so im thinking its between the start and the
ignition swtich. l have fuel and sprak when key in turn on. l have a1990
buick riviera
It is generally not the ignition switch but rather a neutral or
clutch switch, connector or wiring concern.
Besure to first check all of your fuses and fuse links.
